Meet the coaches

Coach ALEX
owner | G14 Head Coach

G14 @ Pearl City High School

After completing his Marine Corps enlistment in 2024, Coach Alex knew he couldn’t bring himself to leave Hawaii. His love for volleyball began on the beaches of Michigan and grew as he played club volleyball while attending college. Shortly after being stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, he discovered his passion for coaching through volunteer work with Marine Corps Community Services.

Since then, he has been dedicated to becoming the best coach he can be, learning and working with experienced mentors across a range of programs, from top-tier clubs to high school varsity teams. At Rally Point Volleyball, his goal is to share his knowledge and passion for the sport while building a community where athletes can grow both on and off the court.

Coach JOSH
G12 Head Coach

Coach Josh is an active duty Marine with over six years of experience coaching youth sports. He brings a leadership style rooted in discipline, consistency, and team culture, with a deep commitment to mentorship and personal development. His coaching philosophy centers on personal accountability and mastering the controllables—effort, attitude, energy, and communication—believing that success is earned through daily intention and self-discipline, not just talent.

At Rally Point Volleyball, Coach Josh is driven to help players grow on and off the court. He challenges athletes to rethink the idea of “deserved” playing time, focusing instead on earning their role through hard work, integrity, and continuous growth. His goal is to build a competitive yet supportive environment where athletes form lasting friendships, compete at a high level, and develop the character to thrive beyond the game.
